Co-design

For Termoresine, co-design is a fundamental phase in the development of a project. In this phase, both the internal team and the client company are involved, creating a fruitful collaboration in the definition of the product.

The process begins with the sharing with the customer of information on the applicable materials and technologies, through technical workshops. Subsequently, Termoresine designers and technicians work side by side with the customer to define the shape, products’ function and layout, using brainstorming techniques and digital simulations.

The goal is to meet the demands, guaranteeing the quality and reliability of the product, through the use of materials and processes with an ever lower environmental impact.

Mechanical machining

Termoresine has developed a high level of expertise in machining both for large and small production batches.

The production process involves using highly technological numerical control (CNC) machines that make it possible to obtain mechanical parts with a high degree of customisation to meet customers’ specific needs.

The processing activity is aimed at different markets including: railway, energy, industry and automotive.

We offer a technical consultancy service to customers, to support them in the choice of materials and the definition of the technical requirements necessary for production.

Great attention is paid to environmental issues, adopting sustainable production techniques and investing in research and development of innovative and recyclable materials.

Insulation

Termoresine’s main business is electrical insulation.

Primarily based on epoxy resins, our coatings are applied to components made in-house or supplied by the client on a contract basis.

Our process guarantees high levels of safety in terms of both the protection of systems from short circuits and of people in the event of accidental contact.

Using technologically advanced machinery, we can insulate busbars with impeccable precision and finish.

The main phases in the manufacturing process are:

– Mechanical processing;

– Accurate surface preparation;

– Cleaning of the components to be treated;

– Masking of contact areas;

– Calibrated “in process” application of the insulating coating;

– Electrical, dimensional and climatic tests.

Quality assurance

Termoresine has won the trust of the markets for the high quality of its products, which is guaranteed by the constant checks carried out during all phases of the production process. The philosophy of continuous improvement is that the level of quality increases with the growth of customer expectations.

The following checks are carried out in Termoresine:

– analysis of the technical documentation, regulatory assessments and certifications required;

– certified dimensional checks through automatic CMM systems;

– electrical tests with high-precision equipment (Voltage, Power, Partial Discharges);

– climatic testing.
